Keigh @ 18!

by Charisse Pestano

It was Keigh Cruz's 18th birthday celebration yesterday and the Cinematic Concepts team and I had a great time covering it.

We met up with Keigh a little before 7pm at room 909 of the Hyatt hotel. Dressed in a black sequined top and pants by Jorge Plamos, and make up done by Suzanne Tan of Suesh, all Keigh needed to do was to pose and we were ready for her photoshoot!

And the team had fun shooting this joyous event. The Cruz's were such fun people that it even showed in the pictures that we took of them.

A Golden Wedding Anniversary

July 4, 2009: Located at the Corner of Makati Avenue and Ayala Avenue, The Filipinas Heritage Library is a one-stop electronic research center on the Philippines. The Library houses over 10,000 contemporary volumes on Philippine history, art, language, religion and the social sciences, and over 2,000 rare titles, rare books on microfiche, and an extensive library of slides and photographs.
This was the venue of the Lugay clan's celebration of their dear Mom & Dad's 50th golden wedding anniversary.
The food was exquisite! the pastries... heavenly! here is a photo of a few "mini" cakes; cheese cakes everywhere!

Oliver & Tina

May 2, 2009 - It was a clear but windy Saturday morning in Tagaytay when the Cinematic Team proceeded to the preparation venues of Oliver & Tina. It was a fun shoot, since Oliver's friends were all so wacky and even Oliver's dad joined for some fun while posing with the groomsmen.

Oliver & Tina

The experience we had during Oliver and Tina's pre-nup shoot is interesting in one way or another. Both are lawyers, but we never had a hard-time getting them to be comfortable around us, our camera and making them pose! Just when we thought that lawyers are serious, boy are we so wrong! Both love the camera, as they are both self-confessed "cam-whores"!

The sunday morning atmosphere and ambience in UP Diliman during the pre-nuptial shoot was "chaotic" especially in the Oval Area and Sunken Garden, but we still managed to get great shots!

Meloy & Jaybee

It took almost ten years and Davao City's unique destination spots get this couple "back-on-track" towards tying the knot on April 26, 2009. Jaybee and Meloy's prenup photo and video shoot were done in places the couple considered as "turning" points in their epic courtship. Since meeting at the Ateneo de Davao University back in 1998, the couple has managed to maintain their love for one another inspite of the long distance between them. Meloy a resident of Davao City, and Jaybee from Manila.

The wedding avp shoot took 3 days to execute. The cinematic concepts team together with Meloy and Jaybee, came up with an itinerary that included restaurants, dormitories, beach resorts, and tourist "pasaubong" centers. The Island Garden City of Samal provided a unique and private backdrop for our photo and video shoot. It was also a good time for the team to get to know the couple more.

Gerald & Maireen

January 31, 2009 - At 2:30pm, at the church of Multinational Village, Gerald and Maireen sealed their love for each other. This is not a promise of the groom giving a better life for his wife but it is a promise to be there together through thick and thin.
Shooting Gerald and Maireen was fun. We started shooting Maireen in her house in Gatchalian Village. Maireen's parents happily provided a healthy breakfast for us when we got there. It was still early and Maireen looked like she just woke up. We also waited for Gerald to get to Maireen's house so we can also take portraits of him.

Charlie & Tina

"Kamusta na? Hope all is going well with you and the team. Busy with weddings I'm sure, eh. We so luv your Onsite! I emailed our Onsite (through your Multiply site) dito sa work a few days after the wedding and they all luv it. I came back with all praises from my co-workers. Salamat!! We appreciate your great work. I first saw your website and works more than a year before the wedding and since then I hold on to your contacts na dahil I was already decided at that time. Your style is so different and fresh compare to the "big names" sa W@W group. Truly "Cinematic", it captured all the emotions of the moment. Galeng!" - Tina Parman.
Red Ginger Farm, Cavite - Tina and Charlie are a couple based in Canada. Planning and coordinating the wedding thousands of miles away only makes it harder for the couple, their family and the wedding organizer to make sure they get the right suppliers and schedules put in place. It was a wedding that everyone looked forward to specially by their guests traveling to the Philippines just to attend their wedding.
